3/ Senior Tax Grant – Deadline: September 30, 2024

Richmond Hill's Seniors Tax Assistance Grant Program gives tax grants to residents who meet the following requirements:

• are 65 years of age or older.

• receive a Federal Guaranteed Income Supplement

• have owned their home in Richmond Hill for at least one year.

• use their home as their main residence.

• there is a limit to one grant per household per year.

4/ 14th Annual Seniors' Information Fair

Join us for a pizza lunch and learn more about services for seniors. The Yachty Boys will keep you entertained by taking you on a musical journey with nostalgic yacht rock hits from the 70s and 80s! All adults over 55 years old are welcome, pre-registration is required.

Participants will be entertained from the moment they arrive at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. In addition to great entertainment, provided by the Yachty Boys, this annual fair includes information on senior services and a pizza lunch. Doors open at 9:45am. All adults over 55 years old are welcome, no membership required.

Join us for a blazing good time with activities, cool demos, and safety tips that’ll keep you & your family safe!

At the Open House, you can learn simple but critical steps they can take to make sure their homes have smoke alarms in all the needed locations and that they’re working properly, while having fun with child-friendly games and activities, live demonstrations (including auto rescue demonstrations and a fire truck simulator), and more!
